The Color Purple was Wonderful!

I went to see Fantasia yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. Felicia Fields performed beautifully and she is extremely talented. My kind of woman. However, she was not the lead in the Birmingham performances. Kenita Miller was fantastic. I took my daughter for her 14th birthday and my best friend, who also celebrated a birthday in October. As soon as they went on sale in our area in August, we had been anticipating the play literally for months and ordered our tickets. I was not disappointed. I loved Sophia. Of course, she played a very believable Celie and I was very impressed with her performance and the performance of all of the actors. Clearly a must see!
